Job summary

Peak Credit Union is seeking an accounting professional to support a broad set of financial duties. The role includes GL maintenance, reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Prepaid Expenses.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of accounting experience in a financial institution and be proficient in Excel. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with salary range $68,992–$78,400, plus bilingual differential and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of accounting experience in a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel for reconciliation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounts are accurately charged and maintain records of credit union transactions.
• Develop and maintain workbooks to monitor daily/monthly activity.
• Maintain and reconcile GL accounts and provide guidance to correct discrepancies.
• Collaborate with branches/departments to obtain information and resolve issues.
