Job summary

builtin integr ationsandbox is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant to support a cloud-based learning platform at scale, reporting to the Controller in a remote-first environment.

The role covers reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, audit support, and process improvements, with a focus on GAAP, revenue recognition, and budgeting. Requires a Bachelor's in accounting and 3–8 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting or auditing experience for Staff, 5-8 years for Senior; public accounting preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of financial statement prep, GAAP, and revenue recognition.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite, Intacct, or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Manage account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
• Analyze expenditures and allocate expenses across departments.
• Review transactions for GAAP compliance and internal policy.
• Review billing to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly accruals and assist with statements and budgets.
• Support year-end tax schedules and continuous process improvements.
