Job summary

builtinintegrationsandbox is hiring a Staff/Senior Accountant for a fully remote role supporting a cloud-based learning platform. The role focuses on accurate financial records, reports, budgeting, forecasting, and audit work to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, AR/AP, billing, revenue recognition analysis, and month/quarter/year-end closings. Eligible for bonus and development stipend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years staff level or 5–8 years senior level accounting/auditing.
• GAAP knowledge and revenue recognition expertise.
• Experience with NetSuite, Intacct or QuickBooks; advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage reconciliations, journal entries, AR, AP, and billing.
• Review expenditures for proper departmental allocation and reporting.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal policy alignment.
• Analyze billing for revenue recognition; post accruals and assist with financial statements.
• Prepare year-end tax schedules and support process improvements.
