Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking an accounting professional to support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.

This remote-friendly role requires 2–3 years in accounting, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP. We offer comprehensive benefits and a remote-first environment with flexible time off.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
