Job summary

USA TODAY Co., Inc. is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our National Division to retain and expand revenue from existing clients while onboarding and developing new accounts.

You will partner with the National Sales team to develop strategic media plans, manage campaigns from launch to delivery, and provide insightful reporting to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excel proficiency with strong analytics demonstrated via work or coursework.
• Organizational skills focusing on QA, process optimization, and prioritization.
• Team player who collaborates with diverse teams.
• Experience with online media sales and responding to RFPs.
• Knowledge of programmatic advertising and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales on incoming RFPs and proposals to meet client objectives, coordinating with cross-company teams.
• Successfully manage and support account base as the day-to-day contact.
• Provide high-level customer service with timely responses and proactive issue resolution.
• Develop and revise media plans using historical data and client objectives.
• Independently manage post-sale activity: booking, trafficking, delivery reporting, and billing resolution.
• Coordinate internal creative builds and sponsorship programs with internal teams.
• Communicate effectively with sales to align on client needs and expectations.
• Support programmatic sales team and internal teams regarding programmatic initiatives.
• Participate in project work and ongoing development.
• Engage in growth initiatives: value propositions, complex program setups, data analysis, performance reports, upselling.
