Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines for a remote role servicing a designated book of business. The position supports new business efforts, retention, and day-to-day account management with a focus on policy administration, billing, and coverage analysis.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license (CIC or equivalent preferred) and has 3+ years in account management within insurance. Eastern/Central Time zones are preferred for candidate location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
