Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book of business, drive client retention, and support new business. This remote role is open to candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones, with occasional on-site work as needed.

You will coordinate day-to-day administrative tasks, handle policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance industry
• Active P&C license is required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data handling

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; Conduct client research and prepare submissions
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals; monitor delinquent accounts and ensure data accuracy
