Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial lines insurance experience.
• Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and underwriting concepts.
• Understanding of state and federal regulations impacting commercial insurance.
• Experience marketing accounts and negotiating with insurance carriers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and agency management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day service and support to commercial clients while responding promptly to inquiries.
• Lead renewal strategy discussions and coordinate execution of service deliverables.
• Assist clients with claim reporting, coverage questions, and policy-related requests.
• Market, quote, and prepare proposals for new business and renewal opportunities.
• Analyze risk exposures and develop coverage recommendations aligned with client needs.
• Negotiate with carrier partners to secure competitive terms and appropriate coverage solutions.
• Process renewals, endorsements, policy changes, invoicing, and premium collection activities.
• Support account retention and growth through consultative client relationship management.
