Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking an Account Manager for Beauty & Home US/Canada to grow our business across the East coast and Midwest with a home-based model. You will manage sales, build long-term relationships with brands and manufacturers, and drive new business while representing Ingredion at industry events.

The role requires strong communication, a proven sales track record, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across applications, R&D, regulatory, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of account/customer relationship management experience, including beauty/personal care materials.
• Proven track record in sales growth and new business development.
• Experience managing a large portfolio across multiple states with brands and contract manufacturers.
• CRM/Salesforce reporting and pipeline management.
• Strong business writing and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint and core business software proficiency.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnight travel.
• Sales training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales revenue, RFQs, forecasts, and year-end estimates for an assigned territory.
• Analyze segmentation, gaps, and competition to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop relationships with brands, OEMs, distributors, and contract manufacturers.
• Collaborate with Application Lab, R&D, Regulatory, Customer Service, and Marketing to support customers.
• Represent company at industry tradeshows and events; manage CRM opportunities and pipeline.
• Forecast customer usage and ensure product availability; present with impact to stakeholders.
• Lead persuasive presentations and organize company presence at events.
