Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, with supervision from a senior member of the group.

The role includes handling policy administration, renewals, billing, claims, and coverage analysis while safeguarding against liability from errors and omissions. A valid P&C license and ability to work Pacific Time hours (M-F, 8am–5pm) are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Assist in directing day-to-day activities of support staff.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Process tasks accurately and on time.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier platforms.
