The Wood Agency Life is seeking a self-directed, remote life insurance sales professional to engage families who have requested information. This 1099 independent-contractor role emphasizes careful, compliant discussions about coverage options across carriers.

You will review finances, book appointments, explain carrier differences, complete applications with clients, and keep everyone informed through CRM records while meeting licensing requirements.

Qualifications

If you've worked at a bank or credit union, you already know how to discuss money decisions carefully. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role puts that to work for families who asked for information.

What you'll actually do

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training

Who this is a fit for

• A background in banking, lending, or credit union member service
• Comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping
• Able to talk about family finances respectfully and without pressure
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
• Self-directed, planning your own day and your own follow-up
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
