Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking self-directed individuals for a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role. You will contact people who requested information, review finances, explain carrier options, and complete applications with clients.

You'll manage applications, disclosures, and underwriting details, track each case through carrier reviews, and keep clients informed. You must be comfortable with forms, disclosures, and precise recordkeeping, and either hold a state

What you'll actually do

• Contact people who have already requested life insurance information and book appointments
• Review each household's finances and obligations before discussing any coverage
• Explain how options differ across carriers, then complete the application together
• Handle applications and disclosures accurately, because details matter to underwriting
• Track every open case through the carrier's review and keep clients informed
• Log activity in the CRM and keep up with compliance training

Who this is a fit for

• Able to talk about family finances respectfully and without pressure
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
• Self-directed, planning your own day and your own follow-up
