Job summary

Insidesource Inc. is seeking an Account Associate to respond to client requests for products and information, coordinating project activities from specification to installation.

You will support an Account Manager on large projects and handle daily work orders for assigned accounts. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with experience in dealership systems and furniture solutions.

Qualifications

• Capacity to learn and use dealership business systems and other industry-specific technologies at advanced levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Independently manage sales transactions
• Practical knowledge of contract furniture systems and products preferred
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and administrative abilities
• Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks
• Strong customer service skills and customer account management experience
• Experience with dealership business systems preferred
• Furniture product specification knowledge preferred
• Interior design background a plus

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, accurate quotes for clients promptly
• Ensure costs and sell amounts align with contract pricing and margins
• Assist Account Manager to define project design and furniture solutions
• Manage cost-of-sale against client purchases
• Attend client and designer meetings to scope work
• Maintain documentation standards and dealership procedures
• Obtain signed client approvals and deposits as required
• Review orders for accuracy before release to manufacturers
• Coordinate with vendors and project teams to meet ship dates
• Publish client status reports as needed
• Coordinate delivery/installation dates with vendors and clients
• Resolve scope changes and bottlenecks to keep clients satisfied
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Project Management, Finance, Operations)
• Support training and growth opportunities
• Assist with responses to information requests and pricing
