Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies is seeking an Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement to lead patient access initiatives across a national field territory. This remote role requires travel within the territory to engage with large accounts and healthcare providers.

You will educate providers on reimbursement processes, coordinate with Sales, Market Access and Patient Support, and drive strategic plans in complex accounts to secure access and optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; business or biological science preferred.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech with patient services, market access, sales, and/or account management.
• Ability to travel 60–80% across a broad geography; valid driver's license.
• Reside within territory or within 60 miles commuting distance.

Responsibilities

• Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access and educate providers and staff.
• Collaborate with executives, providers, administrators, billing and coding staff on patient access.
• Analyze reimbursement issues and provide support with third‑party payers at the provider level.
• Lead pull‑through on local coverage decisions to enable patient access and inform other departments of policy changes.
• Maintain expertise in regional access landscape and advise on reimbursement for products.
• Coordinate with hub and reimbursement managers on patient case management and education.
• Educate HCPs on acquisition pathways, buy‑and‑bill processes, and alternative channels for administration.
