Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking experienced tutors for 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the United States. This fully remote role lets you build a schedule around your life, and you set your hourly rate for each job.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields, plus experience with learners who have special needs. Familiarity with IEPs and 504 plans, strong online teaching skills, and a reliable home setup are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, or other special needs.
• Familiarity with IEPs and 504 plans.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills and engaging online delivery.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's goals, accommodations, and learning profile.
• Create structured lesson plans that align with student goals, grade-level standards, and the specific accommodations or modifications each student requires.
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, progress, and engagement.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners.
