American Marketing Association is seeking an Academic Communities Intern. This fully remote role requires residency in multiple U.S. states and offers $18.00 per hour with a maximum 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college/university.
• Customer service or volunteer management experience.
• Interest in event management, volunteer management, or association management.
• Experience in Google Suite.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work remotely 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Special Interest Group (SIG) webpages.
• Assist with SIG budget and financial management, including payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Support planning and logistics for conferences and events in 2027.
• Respond to attendee inquiries alongside the Manager, Academic Communities, and Customer Support.
• Help execute Conference and SIG awards processes.
• Assist with conference proceedings administration.
