The American Marketing Association is offering an Academic Communities Intern position. This fully remote internship requires residency in specified states and pays $18.00 per hour for up to 24 hours per week, from January 19, 2027 to April 9, 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and enrollment in a 2- or 4-year college/university.
• Customer service or volunteer management experience.
• Interest in event management, volunteer management, or association management.
• Experience in Google Suite.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and manage Special Interest Group (SIG) webpages.
• Assist with SIG budget and financial management, including payments, reimbursements, and invoices.
• Support the Manager, Academic Communities, with planning and logistics for the 2027 Winter Academic, Virtual Winter Academic, Summer Academic, and Marketing and Public Policy conferences.
• Respond to attendee inquiries alongside the Manager, Academic Communities, and Customer Support team.
• Help execute Conference and SIG awards processes.
• Assist the Senior Copy Editor with conference proceedings administration.
