Job summary

Antioch University is seeking a graduate student to support course organization, materials management, and Brightspace maintenance in a fully online capacity. The role emphasizes inclusive course design, resource curation, and timely communication with the faculty supervisor.

The position is remote with 100% online work, 5-10 hours per week, starting 8/17/2026 and ending 6/1/2027. Supervision is weekly, with ongoing feedback and evaluations. This is a Work-Study eligible student employee role.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a graduate student at Antioch University and eligible for Federal Work-Study funding.
• Demonstrated personal or academic interest in sex, sexuality, gender identity, and relational diversity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with online platforms and remote work tools, including Zoom, email, and Brightspace.
• Comfortable working in a fully online/remote environment; reliable internet access required.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality in all interactions.
• Self-motivated and able to manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain course resources (readings, handouts, recordings, materials).
• Format and prepare course syllabi; upload/update syllabi to Brightspace.
• Align Brightspace course page with current syllabus; reflect modules and due dates.
• Organize course modules for a navigable, student-friendly structure.
• Create checklists and use Brightspace features to enhance user experience.
• Focus on inclusive course design for equity and belonging.
• Research and identify current course resources; review for currency and relevance.
• Present findings to supervisor for review.
