Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an Accounts Receivable Collector to manage a high-volume portfolio of domestic U.S. accounts in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, performance-driven, and experienced in driving collections while maintaining strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include handling ~1,000 accounts totaling ~$7M, outbound collections by phone and email, reviewing aging reports, reconciling accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collections experience, corporate A/R preferred.
• Experience managing high-volume portfolios and aging reports.
• Familiarity with Esker, Billtrust, Salesforce and Oracle.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, to explain collections activity.
• Proficiency in Excel (basic to intermediate).
• Detail-oriented with ability to escalate issues and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~1,000 accounts totaling ~$7M in receivables.
• Perform outbound collections via phone and email while maintaining service.
• Review aging reports and prioritize accounts to meet targets.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and escalate complex issues.
• Investigate invoice disputes and payment delays.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve account issues.
• Maintain accurate account updates and activity tracking in systems.
