Job summary

Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist for a fully remote position across select US states. The role involves learning and administering 401(k) plans, reviewing client documents, and coordinating annual reporting and government filings.

You will use Excel and planning software, communicate with clients, and contribute to a team focused on growth as Guidant transitions toward ESOP ownership.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to obtain information to prepare annual reporting.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile plans using Excel and admin software.
• Prepare 401(k) filings such as IRS Form 5500.
