Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority seeks a 1915(i) Community Behavioral Health Support Services Program Manager to oversee daily operations, process referrals, and develop procedures for high email and project volumes, ensuring compliance. This full-time remote role requires collaboration with clinical staff, MCOs, and external partners, with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Public relations and excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with care coordination contract terms and processes.
• Strong written and oral communication for diverse audiences.
• Ability to facilitate timely communication between internal and external groups.
• Experience in report writing for varied audiences including leadership.
• Knowledge of state and federal managed care laws and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on 1915(i) waivered services including CBHS program.
• Develop and implement 1915(i) services within state and federal requirements.
• Review referrals and intakes for service requests.
• Monitor, evaluate, and audit program compliance.
• Oversee the HCA 1915(i) mailbox and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Develop training materials and resource guides for stakeholders.
• Recommend process improvements and communicate changes.
• Draft contract language for managed care contracts.
