Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Orange, CA is seeking a Reminiscence Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership in the memory care neighborhood, supervise the reminiscence team, and ensure excellence in dementia programming and family engagement.

You’ll oversee staffing, scheduling, ISPs, and daily assignments, support Life Skills programming, and partner with leadership on training while promoting resident-centered care and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, long-term care or dementia care.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office & Sunrise systems).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the reminiscence team in daily care and operations.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and timekeeping oversight.
• Provide direct resident care and support Life Skills programming.
• Monitor resident condition changes and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Support family meetings, education sessions and monthly support groups.
• Assist with ISPs, daily assignments and point-of-care documentation.
• Promote Resident-Centered Care and dementia-specific best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.
• Partner with leadership on training, coaching and performance support.
