Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a CMDB Dashboard Developer to design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting for CMDB systems. The candidate will work with BMC Helix CMDB, Remedy ITSM and related modules to support CMDB governance and reporting needs.

You will gather requirements from stakeholders, develop interactive dashboards and KPI scorecards, automate reporting, and help identify data quality issues across CMDB datasets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with BMC Helix CMDB, Remedy ITSM or related modules.
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CIs, class hierarchy, attributes and relationships.
• Experience with BMC Helix Dashboards, Smart Reporting, Helix Data Manager or equivalent reporting tech.
• Knowledge of ITIL SACM processes and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Gather reporting requirements from CMDB, Asset Management, IT Operations and Service Management stakeholders.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot CMDB dashboards and KPI scorecards.
• Create interactive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs and executive reports.
• Develop automated reporting and scheduled distribution of dashboards.
• Analyze large CMDB datasets to identify data quality issues (duplicate CIs, orphaned CIs, missing attributes, relationship inconsistencies).
• Document dashboard designs, data sources, KPI definitions and reporting standards.
• Develop executive-level reporting to demonstrate CMDB maturity and business value.
