Responsibilities

1. Execution of field work involved in asbestos abatement projects while under direct or indirect supervision
2. Direct and supervise project-assigned labor forces including foremen, equipment operators, hazardous waste technicians, and emergency response crews to ensure competent completion of duties
3. Complete all job-specific, employee-related MER paperwork such as Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs, and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms
4. Understand and enforce the project's detailed scope of work to ensure compliance with contract documents, schedules, and policies
5. Forecast and organize the efficient use of personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors under the guidance of the Logistics/Program/Project/Division Manager to optimize costs and profits
6. Work safely and promote safety during all job phases
7. Perform work in confined or varying spaces, involving squatting and crawling for extended periods
8. Follow directions, read/speak and understand English, and interpret danger placards, labels, and safety literature
9. Safely operate and perform safety checks on all licensed vehicles
10. Travel out of town for projects lasting two weeks or more
11. Comply with company and client safety standards
12. Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions, including extreme environments with hazards like heat, cold, heights, chemicals, loud noises, and heavy equipment
13. Engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more
14. Maintain a clean-shaven appearance to ensure respirator seal integrity

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in asbestos, remediation, and general construction
• Remediation training or certification preferred
• Experience supervising labor crews
• Proficiency in driving box trucks or pick-up trucks with trailers
• Willingness to work variable hours, including overtime, nights, and weekends
• Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks for access to secure or public sites
