Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist to support our Remediation group in Denver, CO. The role blends fieldwork with office duties, including site assessments, remediation design, and environmental support on multi-disciplinary projects.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively, have a solid understanding of regulations, and be willing to travel regionally up to 50% with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental sciences or engineering or related field; 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• US Citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard scientific work using prescribed techniques.
• Detects problems with samples or equipment and proposes solutions.
• Contributes to environmental site assessments and remediation design.
• Interprets data and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Travel regionally up to 50% and work variable hours as needed.
