Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Scientist to be based in Fort Collins or Denver, supporting the Remediation team within the Environment line. The role covers soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water investigations and remediation, with responsibilities spanning staff and budget management, data analysis and report preparation.

The candidate will assist in regulatory compliance activities, engage stakeholders, and contribute to technical deliverables.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a relevant field with 4+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating field investigations and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform investigations and remediation design for soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water.
• Manage staff, subcontractors and project financials; engage stakeholders and communicate findings.
• Assist in regulatory compliance inspections, sampling and reporting for permits and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior staff and prepare technical documents for client delivery.
