Job summary

August Mack Environmental is seeking a full-time Environmental Field Technician for the Indianapolis area. The role involves operating earth-moving equipment in a construction environment, traveling to client sites across multiple states, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of equipment operation experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50–100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of earth moving equipment operation experience.
• OSHA HAZWOPER (40 hour) certification a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, dozers, front end loaders, backhoes, and related equipment.
• Mobilize to and from project sites and load trucks as needed.
• Perform daily inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with site grading, remediation activities, demolition, and related field tasks.
• Maintain safety standards and provide quality customer service.
