Job summary

August Mack Environmental, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Field Services professional to work in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

The role involves operating earth-moving equipment, performing remediation-related field tasks, and coordinating with clients at multiple site locations. The position requires 5–10 years of equipment operation experience, a valid driver’s license, and frequent travel (75–100%).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of earth moving equipment operation experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel 75–100% to client sites across multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, dozers, front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers, etc.
• Load trucks and perform job preparation activities.
• Mobilize to and from project job sites.
• Verify utility locates have been completed and are marked before work.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in safe, working order; report issues.
• Perform daily inspections and minor repairs on equipment.
• Keep daily records for time/hours billed and expenses.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE; communicate safety concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
