Job summary

D&W Diesel, Inc. in Auburn, NY is seeking a Production Engineer to provide technical support to our remanufacturing lines. You will apply mechanical and electro-mechanical skills to improve our processes and products.

Responsibilities include new product development, failure analysis, solving problems, and leading technical procedures while collaborating with production and customers.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to work hands on.
• Experience with electrical systems and/or software programming.
• Experience creating and reading machine/assembly drawings.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• New product development.
• Perform failure analysis and problem solving.
• Develop creative ideas for reclaim processes.
• Troubleshoot and take the lead on technical procedures.
• Provide technical support to production departments and customers.
