Job summary

My CNH Reman is seeking a Product Engineer to drive remanufacturing product development from concept through release. You will work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to develop BOMs, work instructions, and process controls while maintaining cost targets and schedules.

Responsibilities include APQP program participation, PPAP support, and liaison with Sales and Production to ensure manufacturability and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Five plus years’ experience with product engineering or related field.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and apply GD&T prints for various products.
• Strong analytical skills/logic with the ability to put into action.
• Ability to use numerous hand tools, gauges, and product testing equipment. Travel may be required.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety rules; contribute to QMS conformance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in APQP to prepare new product lines for release to production.
• Develop work instructions for reman products.
• Create and structure Bills of Material (BOMs) and item masters in ERP.
• Study core units and analyze component wear to estimate remanufacturing needs.
• Interface with multiple departments to achieve cost-effective and manufacturable products.
• Support PPAP and obtain customer approval; assist with process documentation and control plans.
• Provide customer support with drawings and troubleshooting as assigned.
