Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly II associate at the Corinth, MS facility. You will assemble components with increasing complexity, operate tools, and adhere to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes reading prints, following standard work, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and potential cross-training across related operations to ensure production needs are met.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience, ability to read standard work documents and enter data.
• Must read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc).
• 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes.
• Follow contamination control guidelines and perform quality checks.
• Read prints and perform data entry as defined by standard work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, and other tools as needed.
• Cross-train in other positions up to Salary Grade 3 based on qualifications and physical requirements.
• Follow production schedules and utilize MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix systems for work instructions and data entry.
