Job summary

Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Booneville, MS is looking for an Assembly II to perform assembly of components across varying levels of complexity. You will work in a fast-paced, safety-conscious team, using tools and reading prints to ensure quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience (ability to read standard work documents and enter data).
• Read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools, etc).
• 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Knowledge of engines and components.
• Prior use of hoists.
• Print reading experience.
• Basic assembly training or engine/component assembly experience or engine mechanic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes.
• Adhere to contamination control guidelines and follow standard work.
• Perform print reading and quality checks.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, etc.
• Cross train in other positions as needed and work with various systems like MES/BIQ/Epix for data entry.
