Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking a Disassembly I to work in the Remanufacturing division. You will disassemble engines and components in a fast-paced, safety-focused setting, with opportunities to cross-train in other Salary Grade 1 roles.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience; read and enter data.
• Read/write and interpret documents.
• Experience with MS Office (Word/Excel).
• Prior use of hoists.
• Knowledge of engines and components.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with basic tooling (hand tools, air tools, pneumatic tools).

Responsibilities

• Disassemble engines and components in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Cross-train in other Salary Grade 1 positions as needed.
• Use hand and power tools to perform tasks.
• May use overhead hoist to move large components.
• May require respirator/PPE and related safety protocols.
• Move parts with pallet jacks, overhead cranes, or electric pallet jacks.
• Perform material handling and data entry.
• Use computer systems and email regularly.
• Adhere to Built-in-Safety guidelines.
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and self-motivation.
