Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Assembly I in a MO facility to perform assembly processes in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment. You will use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses and other tools, following production schedules and documenting data in system work instructions.

Candidates should be able to read standard work documents, lift/move parts, and comply with Built in Safety guidelines. Prior cross-training in other areas may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer experience to read standard work documents and enter data.
• Ability to read/write and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform various assembly processes in a fast-paced, safety- and quality-focused environment.
• Follow production schedules and reference work instructions via MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages and hoists to assemble components.
