Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an Assembly and Test Specialist to improve process efficiency by assembling and testing components of our prime products. Training is provided during 1st shift for 4–6 weeks at the facility.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing, reworking, and repairing parts, with potential crane operation for moving prime products. This role requires a high school diploma and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• A mechanical background or industrial assembly experience.
• Good communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required; Caterpillar will train applicants with strong employment history.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test components, rework and repair as needed.
• Operate test machines to test final drive assemblies.
• Prepare prime products and attachments for shipping.
• Perform salvage operations in assembly areas as necessary.
• Disassemble and reassemble complex assemblies to repair or replace damaged parts.
• May operate remote control crane to move prime products.
