ATI Specialty Materials in Monroe, NC, is hiring a Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic / Electro-Mechanical Technician for a relocation opportunity. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems in a high-tech metals manufacturing environment.

The role offers a starting pay of $77,000/year plus a $2/hour night-shift differential, quarterly bonuses, relocation assistance and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of trade school or industrial maintenance experience.
• Solid understanding of power transmission, fluid power, and electrical systems.
• Background in metals, aerospace, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts (day/night rotation or fixed shifts).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across plant equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Install and maintain 3-phase motor controls, AC/DC circuits, and basic relay logic.
• Support fabrication work, including cutting, welding, and layout planning.
