Job summary

Autonomy Staffing in Monroe, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production and facility equipment running smoothly. The role offers $30–$35 per hour, with day and night shifts available to cover operations.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with supervisors to plan activities. The job requires 2+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and reading schematics/blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and/or PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Willingness to work day or night shifts; forklift certification and welding experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute timely repairs to keep production running.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment

What We're Looking For

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure
• Must be comfortable working day or night shifts as needed
• Forklift certification and welding experience a plus
