ATI Specialty Materials in Monroe, NC is hiring a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Electro-Mechanical Technician. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates and starting pay is $77,000 annually with a $2/hour night shift differential.

In this role you will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, install motor controls, and support fabrication tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of trade school OR industrial maintenance experience.
• Solid understanding of power transmission, fluid power, and electrical systems.
• Background in metals, aerospace, or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts (day/night rotation or fixed shifts available).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across plant equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Install and maintain 3-phase motor controls, AC/DC circuits, and basic relay logic
• Support fabrication work, including cutting, welding, and layout planning
