Job summary

ATI is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Monroe, NC to support production by maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, reading blueprints, and performing preventative maintenance. You will troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems, enable safety-compliant operations, and perform basic fabrication and welding as needed.

Qualifications

General HS Diploma / GED is required.
At least two years of trade school or equivalent industrial/mechanical or electrical experience.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Plan, layout, and perform operations to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of plant equipment and accessories.
Effectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they arise.
Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems, and AC/DC circuits, possess an understanding of basic relay logic.
Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumps.
Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures.
Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules.
Maintain lift truck operator’s license, main lift, and other material handling equipment.
