Job summary

Augmentis is representing a client in Northwest Indiana seeking a Financial Analyst with a relocation package. Remote work is possible for 30–60 days during relocation, then on-site at the Indiana location.

The role supports accounting, month-end close, forecasting, and cost analysis for the plant. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Strong Excel skills; Word and Access are a plus.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting/financial analysis experience or strong internship background.

Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Controller with day-to-day general accounting and month-end close.
• Analyze manufacturing inventory costs, variances, and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Maintain payroll/fringe expense tracking, labor standards, and fixed assets/capital plans.
• Assist with product costing, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly finance close processes.
