Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You’ll evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic’s internal infrastructure, with a global environment of Cisco and other vendors.

Relocation to Madison, WI, is reimbursed. You’ll join a small, collaborative team helping deliver resilient networking for Epic and its healthcare customers while using Terraform and Ansible for deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a history of academic and professional success.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware; CCNA or CCNP certification helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure.
• Design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity; configure firewall rules.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for deployments and automation.
