Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Relocation Project Manager for our client in Raleigh, NC. This full-time role oversees relocation and expense projects across a portfolio in the Research Triangle Park, demanding meticulous planning, exceptional organization, and the ability to lead geographically dispersed teams to a seamless relocation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
• Strong relocation practices knowledge (space planning, furniture procurement, IT setup).
• Excellent organization and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand relocation needs and objectives.
• Develop and execute relocation project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Plan relocations up to 1,000 people and expense projects up to 100K.
• Input data into Corrigo and Asana to maintain project information.
• Coordinate all stages of relocation from planning to post-move evaluation.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams for a seamless relocation experience.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate facilities and identify issues or opportunities.
• Coordinate logistics such as space planning, furniture procurement, IT infrastructure setup, and expense projects.
• Manage and track multiple relocation and expense projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets.
• Provide regular communication and updates to clients, managing expectations.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve challenges during the project process.
• Conduct post-move evaluations to assess success and improvement areas.
