Qualifications

• Completion of ninth grade is required.
• Valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or ability to obtain one upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and breaks down folding chairs, tables, risers, podiums, furnishings, equipment and other materials for events across the University.
• Uses basic hand tools for disassembly/reassembly of general office furniture.
• Performs light to heavy lifting of equipment and furnishings for in‑office or small office moves within buildings.
• Relocates property with assistance or with equipment such as flatbed dollies or hand trucks, up to 50 pounds independently.
• Maintains and inspects relocation vehicle fleet; safely operates vehicles and reports needed repairs or accidents.
• Picks up and delivers surplus property to and from the FSU Surplus warehouse and operates relocation vehicles as needed.
• Distributes work on daily projects, maintains balance, defines priorities, and ensures safety and security of the team.
• Performs off loading, stacking, or organizing supplies within warehouse or storage space; supports Relocation Team as needed.
• Maintains carpeted and hardwood flooring through cleaning; dusts and cleans surfaces; cleans water coolers and restrooms.
