Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must possess one year of professional experience as a clergyperson or one year of related experience.
• Must possess a current written approbation or endorsement by the appropriate official of the ecclesiastical body.

Responsibilities

• Lead the way by planning, scheduling, implementing, and coordinating supervision for dynamic Chaplaincy Services programs.
• Provide pastoral care, conduct worship services, and teach religious education classes for inmates.
• Oversee the Certified Food Option Program and Religious Diet Program, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintain detailed records, submit reports, and process chapel and diet program documentation.
• Supervise the volunteer program and support the Senior Chaplain with institutional visits and meetings.
