BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Relief Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

LVT II Pay: $27.25 - $38.80 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.
*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Examples of shift differentials include:

1. Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00
2. Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50
3. Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, apply today! This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will:

1. Triage and obtain patient history
2. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
3. Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
4. Perform advanced radiographs
5. Monitor and care for ventilator cases
6. Provide Level 2 & 3 inpatient care

Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients. Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
