Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers seeks a licensed Pharmacist to support our customer-first pharmacy team in Casper, WY. You will assist the department manager to achieve sales and profit goals and uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires NAPLEX passage, ability to work at multiple locations, and willingness to travel independently while delivering excellent patient counseling and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Possess a current Pharmacist license in the state of employment, with no stipulations or Board ordered restrictions.
• Graduate of a US School of Pharmacy or have passed a foreign equivalency exam.
• Successfully passed the NAPLEX exam.
• Ability to work at various locations.
• Ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Monitor all established quality assurance standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and prescribers.
• Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
• Use the RX computer system to accurately record and process prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with supervision of associates.
