Job summary

Smith’s Food & Drug Centers is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our Idaho store pharmacy. You will fill prescriptions accurately, counsel patients, administer vaccines when needed, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all laws. Maintain inventory, records and a clean, professional environment to deliver outstanding service.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer care, and teamwork with store staff while supporting community health initiatives in Idaho.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Effective oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with high accuracy
• Administer vaccines as needed
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state and federal laws (incl. HIPAA)
• Maintain professional image and adhere to company standards
• Monitor inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance
