Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to join our Meijer Pharmacy team in Ohio. The role focuses on patient care, medication safety, and education of staff while maintaining strong relationships with patients and leadership.

The pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing, supervise technicians, and provide clinical services such as immunizations where allowed. A licensed pharmacist with a PharmD/B.S. in Pharmacy and CPR certification is required, with familiarity in retail practice.

Qualifications

• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Pharmacist degree (B.S. or PharmD).
• CPR certification.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Comply with Meijer Policies and Procedures, and with state and federal laws.
• Provide immunizations where permitted and oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
