Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a licensed pharmacist to deliver patient-centered care in a busy retail pharmacy. You will oversee dispensing, educate staff, and maintain strong patient relationships, while applying Meijer Policies and state/federal laws.

The role includes clinical services such as immunizations, leadership in the absence of the pharmacist in charge, and ongoing development within a patient-first pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed to practice in the state.
• CPR certification and Immunization Pharmacist certification (except Indiana).
• Experience in Retail/Community Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients and staff.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform clinical services including immunizations where allowed.
