Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Ohio is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will fill prescriptions, maintain patient relationships, and support the growth of pharmacy services while upholding Meijer policies and state/federal regulations.

The role requires an Ohio license, Doctorate or PharmD, CPR certification, and experience in retail/community practice. Immunization services may be provided, and you will mentor technicians to achieve high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and help grow the pharmacy business.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Be knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as an agent of change.
• Prioritize workload with excellent organization and patient focus.
